Pavilion Newquay

This bakery is housed in a converted lifeboat station with a high pitched roof. A space required to provide not only bread, pastries and coffee to the locals but tasty lunches also especially during the very popular summer season with welcoming beach below, this place accommodates all in need of nutrition.

An open front makes the transition from pavement to inside easy, even with a surfboard. Designed for use as a flexible seasonal space is very open during the summer welcoming all who pass by  with the roller shutter fully retracted, during the shorter colder months a dismountable canvas awning to close up the space and keep the heat from the fuel burner at bay creating a cosy atmosphere for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
