Pavilion Columbia Road

In the heart of East Londons famous flower market this place was converted from an old fashioned sweetie shop. The rear ceiling was lowered to create a more intimate back of house feel further enforced with a fuel burning stove. The key ingredients of tiles, joinery and lighting were used to create the ambience that bread best sits within and the addition of a perch bar to the window allows customers to rest a while with their coffee.

The flower market trades on Sundays only and gets very crowded indeed yet either side of this the bakery has proved more than its worth to the locals and small businesses and as such is rarely empty.
